The Optovex Active infrared safety sensor is used to detect obstacles on the path of your closing automatic garage door, industrial door, sliding gates or swing gate. By using reflective infrared beam technology, fitment is made easy.

For installation, cabling is only required to the Optovex Photocell unit only, while the opposite side of the driveway is fitted with a single reflector. The optical signal is transmitted from the Optovex unit, across the driveway to the mounted reflector, and bounced back to the Optovex infrared unit. An obstruction to the path of the Infrared beam, prevents the signal from returning and is therefore recognised as an obstacle on the path of your driveway.
